The Orchid Society of Greater St. Louis had its annual August auction at MOBOT on August 11th. I wasn't able to attend. But it had a good showing. It's the local orchid society's annual fund raiser. I need to take better care of my plants. I've been forgetful about consistently watering them.
However, Arthur Chadwick is supposed to be the guest speaker for the society next month. The topic of his talk is Cattleya orchids. This is something I'm interested in attending. I like Cattleya orchids. I'd love to have greenhouse full of them. Maybe one day. Until then, the next OSGSTL meeting is Friday, September 13th at 7:30 PM at MOBOT in St. Louis, MO.
